DAY 1BOGOTÁ

Arrival to the El Dorado International Airport where you will be picked up by a representative of ECUADOR & BEYOND and will be transferred to the selected hotel.

DAY 02BOGOTÁ

Firstly to downtown Bogotá visiting the historic district of La Candelaria. You will enjoy exploring the Unique Gold Museum, the famous Botero Museum and to finish you will go to Monserrate Hill taking the Cable Car to the top. At the gold museum, you will have the option to do a Coffee Baptism (a ritual to enhance your tasting senses). The mountain of Cerro de Monserrate rises over downtown Bogotá, a church high up on the mountain is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. In the afternoon you will visit one of the most important market places in Bogotá where you can explore the magic of the local products and exotic fruits which you can only find in Colombia.

DAY 03BOGOTA / PEREIRA

Transfer to Bogota’s airport to take the flight to Armenia. A visit to the Coffee region offers the opportunity for adventure or for friendly encounters with locals going about their daily lives. In the afternoon we will visit The Botanical gardens in Calarca, Quindío this garden hosts a wide collection of trees, plants, and insects that live in and flourish in the three departments of this region and beyond. Walking through the different modules of the house with its small waterfalls and abundant blossoms the butterflies around you fill the air with a spectrum of colors.

DAY 04VALLE DEL COCORA / SALENTO

This tour takes you in the culture of the region along with the stunning natural beauty of the Cocora Valley, where the magnificent Wax palm grows. As you enter into Filandia, the first stop, you know you are in the Coffee region of Colombia. The main square has not changed in appearance or
in character in decades. From Filandia we will drive to the Valley. The valley has a unique landscape like a lush version of a Swiss valley. It has been regarded by Colombia as a sanctuary for its national symbol; the Wax Palm. Visit the small town of Salento, in which you can explore the interesting and ancient architecture.

DAY 05PEREIRA / CARTAGENA

Private transfer from the hotel to Matecaña International airport. Domestic flight from the Pereira to Cartagena. After arriving we will start, bring your appetite and an adventurous attitude. We hit the streets to experience food the way Cartageneros do. In the afternoon you will live a wonderful and recreational experience, lead by on of the most important Mixologists in Colombia, who will guide you and show you that the mysterious world of liquor goes way beyond a bottle.

DAY 06CARTAGENA

We offer a guided city tour by bike through the historical centres of Getsemaní (the walled city), Manga and Bocagrande. The tour starts in the historical centre; we will ride past all of the main attractions and landmarks (squares, parks, and churches). We will have plenty of photo stops and the Tour guide will tell you about the history of Cartagena and of all the landmarks along the way.

DAY 07ISLA ROSARIO

Explore the impressive, beautiful landscapes of the Rosario Islands with their clear waters, gentle breezes, and maritime life such as dolphins. Today, the entire surrounding area, including the Islas de Barú and the Islas de San Bernardo, are officially protected sites. During this day trip on the Majagua Island you will have enough time to explore the beautiful nature and relax on the beach. There you will also be served a typical lunch. In the afternoon you will return to Cartagena.
